One thing I find interesting about the echo chamber complaint is that an echo chamber just won a presidential election.

And just to clarify, the message is correct. People (mostly right leaning but happens on the left as well) don’t care because is makes them feel bad.

I don’t think most people have a clue how far and how fast things will now devolve.
Starting from the emergence of Gingrich, Limbaugh, and Fox News, the right wing has persistently fed its audience bullshit. From the earliest bullshit about the Clintons, the purpose has been to turn Americans against each other for political gain.
Until heath and education aren’t primarily sources of bankruptcy, US democracy is moot.
