Pope Francis has pneumonia in both lungs, according to the Vatican. There's concern about the ability of the 88-year-old pontiff to fight off the infection.

Let's be modest and estimate that just 25% of catholic priests are child predators, the fact remains that 100% of catholic priests know about it, including il papa. Don't pity this man. He has the best healthcare his destitute flock can buy for him
According to actual news sources, and not “vibes,” 4-5% of catholic priests have had credible accusations made against them. For comparison, that’s less than public school teachers, who hover between 5-7% according to the US Department of Education. It’s terrible that there’s any, but be accurate.
Both of my parents, from Irish and Italian catholic families, had several family members experience abuse before they were adults. Here's one story they were both very familiar with. #Vibin
"Credible accusations" lol I don't know what "actual news sources" you're citing, but I can assure you there are no census numbers on pedophilia in the catholic churches. Most cases, like the three cases my family members experienced (that I know about), go unreported or are "internally handled"
You can't quantify human behavior. The truth is, we will never know the true number of lives the catholic church has destroyed, but we can get the zealots out of our justice system and actually start holding them accountable moving forward instead of protecting them. It's vile
Let the cosmic scales balance as they must. The Pontiff shall receive precisely the measure of thoughts and prayers he dispensed to the bleeding soul of Ukraine, no more, no less

Dust to dust, indifference to indifference
Respectfully, I disagree. Eternal life comes after dying. Death comes after dying. So does eternal life. But I will amend my statement to what we call being dead God calls eternal life.
I will never forget that video of the small, scared kid who asked Francis if his father (who’d suicided) was in hell, and Pope Francis hugged him and said his father was in heaven. I’ve always looked at him fondly after that. Only pope in decades worth a damn.
Oh wow I had to Google that video and you’re 100% right. 😭 Pope Francis is so amazingly gentle and supportive of that little kid. I’m a nonbeliever just like that little boy’s father but I’m praying for Pope Francis.
In the big scheme of real world problems....who cares. I do wish him recovery but I am more concerned about the Ukraine and stopping Pres. Musk and Puppet tRump from crippling America
It’s more relevant than you think. The next pope, unlike this one, could be conservative to the point of fanaticism. And any time religion unifies with politics, it’s bad news.
This is actually awful. This Pope has been fairly humanist and pragmatic *for a Pope*. A lot of Cardinals don't like it, and I fear there will be backlash in the choice of the next Pope. Imagine someone who validates the far right in the US and Europe instead of condemning
He’s the only pope in recent memory that practices what he preaches - frugality, humility, charity. I don’t know when those Christian values stopped being Christian.
Is he problematic? Yes. Is (the) church problematic? Hell yes. But changes regarding certain subjects are good changes, and those can lead to other changes. Sometimes change happens in landslide, and sometimes it’s a trickle.
This war is clouding Pope Francis and his recovery and I just want to go on record to say he's a lovely person, people should be praying for him and not for war and greed
I had double pneumonia after I had my daughter and using the nebulizer every day and staying away from other germs was the best for me when I went home
I'm praying for Pope Francis. He is such a decent and good human being who has been mercilessly attacked by a faction of the Catholic Church mainly here in the USA.

The Wikipedia article on the topic is an easy start for sources, and more in-depth information can be found from the articles and studies there.
Therefore accurate data (or as close as we can get) is always very important.

Can you cite a source for this?
I never said that or even implied it
Praying that he makes it!
We can call it a tie, as both must go.
The tribe should have cracked the skull of the first person that suggested an invisible being had to be worshipped.
