I think the bicycle joke in Earthbound is my fav. Went out of their way to program a bell for this faster movement. You almost immediately realize you can’t use it anywhere. Excellent troll.

A couple of people have quoted this by pointing out that other games have mazes, which was never the point. The point is the maze walls are scenery rock.png and you can't get lost
