Alt-text: over the silhouette of a barren mountain range, an eerie greenish sky becomes darker as you look upward till it's almost black. In this dusk or dawn a single point of light is visible. An arrow points to it with the legend: "Earth".
Wow. Amazing that 150 years ago we didn't even have cars and now we can send robots and cameras to other planets to show us from afar just how insignificant we are in the universe.
Look at how grand we are. Rising high on the horizon like a. Oh, sorry. Just a speck. Well, that was anti climactic . Maybe the aliens have cool 3d glasses that make it look psychedelic or something?!
I don't understand the question. You know it the same way you know where Mars is when you look up from Earth. You already know the current relevant position of these astronomical objects so all you have to do is look in the right direction.
All we need to know is where we are on the surface of Mars, and then we can just calculate backwards. Fancy terms like arc-seconds, ascension and declination will tell us which way to point our camera. It's just a matter of doing the math (probably automatically). https://ssd.jpl.nasa.gov/planets/approx_pos.html
You mean the new planet of nuclear fallout, seen from the old? All because humanity is unable to transcend its ideological differences such as Liberal vs. Conservative, Right vs. Left, one Religion vs. another?
Another reason why I feel there is a planet out there with life and civilization...it's only that the distance don't allow us to connect...imagine all this stars out there, even the million of galaxies out there...somewhere out there, there is a planet orbiting a star and life exists..
They almost certainly exist somewhere in the vastness of the cosmos. Whether they’ve visited here or ever will, though, is an entirely different matter.
That's why I believe there is another planet our there with life.I can't help but doubt earth is the only one...this universe is soo big for us to think we are the only ones,I mean that dot we call earth 🌎looks like the millions out there ,so one other got to have life, probably even more of them

Only them.
Forever.
Even on earth, it has taken quite a bit of work to map the stars. So, I find it amazing, and I'm curious how they worked it out.
