I really hope you can help me. My son wants a 🔭 for Christmas and from what I got from YouTube, it need to be a Dobsonian telescope. I found this one on Amazon, Sky Watcher Sky-Watcher Heritage 130mm Tabletop Dobsonian 5-inch Aperture. Is it better than the department store telescope?
When I was a small kid, I didn’t understand the difference between a solar system and a galaxy. The images had me confused. I wondered how the planets could leave giant trails of light that we don’t see in the night sky.
Isn't it the first ever image of another multi-planet solar system with a "sun-like" star, or does "solar system" already imply it's a sun-like star? Because we had a picture of HR 8799 years earlier.
Named TYC 8998-760-1 is a 27 million old star and located about 300 light-years from Earth in the constellation Musca, the star is similar in mass to the sun with two known planets in orbit.
ask Elon Musk I'm sure he's already started building a Craft to get him there, with any luck he'll take the Grifter with him and they get lost, forever!!!
Star* System. Ours is called the Solar System because it's shepherded by the Sun. Our star's English name (Sol in Latin). It might seem conceited. It definitely started that way. But these days it's more about avoiding confusion between observer and observed.
Now we need to take a photo of a multi-planet, binary solar system so our dreams of one day living a slow life on a Tatooine-like planet can become closer to realization 😊
Very cool. It feels like it's only a matter of time before we observe an earth-like planet in the habitable zone of a star system. Then everyone gets to wildly speculate!

What if it and our solar system were part of one gigantic solar system? 🤔
Please anyone please help
THANK YOU
TYC 8998-760-1 b has a mass of 22 Jupiters.
TYC 8998-760-1 c with a mass of 6 Jupiters.
Don't get me wrong this looks amazong!!
Though cosmophobia will be real here.

The way I started to believe it, I thought the Solar System was weird with 8 (9) planets. We always seem to only find 3 or 4.
Any signs of Earth 2.0?
And how many light years away?
Maybe he's just discovered Cut & Paste... 🤔
Actually, that might be the best thing that could happen right now...
This is the first image.
This one, the link from our dear friends at NASA.
This is the link, just click on it and get informed.
Ok? I hope you get better.
By the way, star system, not solar system, solar system is ours.
