Paul Brereton in today's #NACC public hearing:
"Adding a stamp of corrupt conduct ... to conduct already exposed by the Royal Commission would add no public value. That was our thinking, or my thinking"
Then how could he put out a public statement saying he wasn't involved in any decision making?

Australians want them to face the courts.
I think we all know it was his thinking & no one else's.
Ms Holmes showed empathy & integrity with the RC, he needs to take some lessons!
Surely he knew the Royal Commission’s terms of reference did not include the power to investigate corruption.

......"add no public value".
What? ....except for those "lessons learnt".
His response is beyond belief.

Sitting there with his eyes almost closed, his tone as though it was beneath him to answer & the cheek of asking it in the 1st place.
He needs to remember he's not in the forces anymore but a public servant now!

😆
Brereton was full of contradictions in his testimony today
He must go
ever!
Are they saying that all the corruption will have no consequences whatsoever, even if the NACC dug deeper?
Do we need Susssan Ley to come out and say "The NACC was never intended to do anything, really"?
Wonder why that would be????
#DuopolyFail 6765.
Confirming an action was corrupt was the sole role of this toothless failure of a commission
Could we bombard her into some action
