I fully expect in fifteen to twenty years an about-face where they've 'grown as an institution and realize how wrong it was at the time' long after the damage has been done and the people responsible can't be held to account for their shit.

Revoked? Revoked? Did they pay their tuition? Housing? Ridiculously over priced books? Did they pass the classes despite hostile professors who each think their class is the only class? Then I don't see how they can revoke anything... not without a refund.

Professional organizations can put pressure on Columbia by withdrawing accreditation, which would suck for students who could sue...but I seriously doubt they will.
