Yeah, it totally could have been the jumping-off point for those. So many of those bands are intrinsically linked to AMVs from that time in my head. Looking for an AMV in Google was how I found YouTube in the first place in late 2005 xD A Final Fantasy X AMV was the first thing I ever watched on it.
