God I always loved this machine. So beautifully styled, so much character, the sound chip is so unique, and the use of dithering for transparency was clever. Truly one of a kind hardware unlike anything else.

Yeah! Same here. I'm loving the way that the 'bad sound' rep of the Mega Drive is being overturned as appreciated as a more nuanced thin, and how there is some really impressive stuff being done with the machine these days.
