All this posturing about "echo chambers" and the refusal to get off X revolves around journalists' belief that gutter racist posts are authentically the voice of the people, because they're too gullible (and too personally racist!) to understand how Nazis have been gaming the platforms all along

Over in the UK the BBC has been quietly platforming more and more extreme views from 'experts' put forward by dubious think tanks, lobbyists et al. They aren't subjected to piercing questions.
Which puts our senior highly paid 'liberal' journalists in a rather new light.
