I have been mystified since the '70s by the twisting definition of Christian principles. Honestly, I left organized religion.

But years of Christian Sunday School made a permanent difference in my view of my responsibility to my fellow human beings.

Simply put - I owe them more than they owe me.

I think it would be hard to explain to someone who was not raised in evangelical Christianity just how strongly it is taught, essentially as a religious principle, that Christians are a heavily persecuted minority. I remember being asked as a child if I would die before denouncing Christ.
