"But Democrats had to pass the TikTok ban because Republicans made them by attaching it to other legislation"
Not in the House, but also...
The same people saying this are going to excuse when Dems vote for anti-trans bills in the budget over the next 4 years, like they already did with the NDAA.

I'm gobsmacked that the NDAA passed the Senate. It was "must pass" legislation -- & they had solid ground:
* Not a clean bill
* We don't do this to our military
* We don't tell parents how to care for their childen
The Ds ***gave*** this to the Rs.
Dems: yes but only because the Republicans wouldn’t allow us to use the bathroom
My dad when I was mad about the trans bathroom bill in Utah: "there's good stuff in there too, like Native American outreach"
This shit pisses me off to no end.
... and the double Rs cancel each other out like a double negative
I think that's the new motto of The Resistance.
Helping the working class involves forgoing donations from the shareholding class, and national Dems balk.
Where do we draw the line at referring to these sorts of bills as "must-pass?" Oh yeah, when they help the people and not corporations, right.
