Tuned in to this guy giving bad anecdotes about the horrors of sharing washroom space with another human. They are trying so hard to squeeze blood out of this bigoted stone.
It’s always disingenuous bullshit arguments. “What about a trans woman in the women’s bathroom?!” We go pee, we wash our hands and leave. Sometimes compliment others and touch up makeup if needed. I didn’t spend decades of repression years of HRT and social ostracism to peep on women peeing!!
People think lockpickers are criminals, but actual criminals don't have the patience or desire to practice and learn picking. They'll just break a window or threaten you with a wrench.
Why would we assume sex pests will transition to be sex pests? It's such a nonsense, cruel, bad faith argument.
Oh and I hope I didn't offend anyone by drawing this parallel. I don't want to compare the struggles of anyone to a hobby so if I implied that I'm very sorry and I love you and you deserve to be happy as yourself.
The issue as I see it is this. These are men who apply their thinking to this scenario. They believe as men, they would peep or assault women in bathrooms. They apply that logic to their decisions on this topic. I don’t think or behave as a man. That is their folly, not mine.
Huh. That might be a fit for the "whomever smelt it, dealt it" axiom of Old.
Oh, you are afraid of trans women being creepy in the bathroom? Sounds like we need to make sure you don't go into the bathroom unsupervised, then, Mr. Creeper.
Is there anything Minnesotans can do? I don't know how plausible it would be to help trans Iowans move into the state or what we could do to help but maybe I can offer advice since Minnesota is (for now) a trans refuge state

Winona is close to the Iowa border, relatively cheap and there is a small queer community there. It's a college town, so it's more welcoming than the surrounding areas, but not great. Rochester is better but more expensive. Ottawa is between them but seems to be more conservative I wouldn't risk it.
The best bet is the twin cities. Minneapolis is the more expensive of the two. East St Paul is maybe not as safe, North St Paul is affordable, West St Paul is the best (I'm totally not biased) Blaine may be more republican so don't chance that, Maplewood and White Bear Lake are good but expensive
I fled from that state over a decade ago, and I will never ever go back there. It has only become relentlessly worse since then, and my heart breaks for all those stuck there.
Next it's the "wetb@cks" and "n199ers ", the "Y1ds" and the "K1kes", right? The next groups to lose human rights?
Or is it OK just to send the "tr@nnies" to the gas chambers?

Trans rights are human rights. You are loved, you are valued.
Politicians know, I will not vote for any party that dehumanizes any other group of people.
No, I'm against the bigots in my own country too, funnily enough.
