I bought the 2024 Players Handbook & Dungeon Masters Guide .. but I’m not sure I’m ready to commit yet 😭❤️
How do we feel about the 2024 guides? Happy for the changes? How do things play out if you’ve played with the new rules?

Other than that, the changes aren't awful. They take a little getting used to, but that's all.
I miss those days.
Biggest negatives are that Rogue & Ranger got the newest improvements, and feel the least satisfying.
Also makes a lot of changes reducing the need to min-max or cross-class
Think I'm going to get the DM guide from my local bookshop instead.
I've been a fan of Savage Worlds as a solid system.
It feels the same as 5e just rebalanced. Like a COD update where the chance gun specs.
My only complaint is that my boy, Counterspell, got nerfed into oblivion.
I don't agree with giving Wizards/Hasbro money. They've shown that they're a toxic, hateful company that is literally willing to send mercenaries to threaten their biggest fans.
I'm still using the new rules. ...I'm just not buying the books.
We’ve only implemented a couple of the changes so far. I think next campaign we’ll fully commit.
