On TV I watched college students waiting in line to vote. Even when polls close at 8 pm, if you are in line you can still vote. However, the PA race was called for Trump while voters were still in line. PA Senate race was very close, closer than Presidential race. How many voters left?

This is an excellent column Will Bunch. Some, not all, of the lower 24 D turnout was successful voter suppression efforts of MAGA. It was cool seeing Paul Rudd and Robert De Niro passing out water to college students waiting 7 hours to vote. But MAGA voters did not even have to wait one minute.

I was already strongly inclined to vote for her, but she needed the less strongly inclined. I already got and dug her message but she needed to drive her message to "low proclivity" voters. Her oratory and rhetoric wasn't strong or impelling enough to strongly drive that message and motivate voters.

Yes. I'm afraid so, but I also work in a grocery store, where half of the customers, MAGA or not, have been bitterly complaining about grocery prices for over two years. Telling them "inflation is down" is meaningless to them as most of them don't know what the word "inflation" even means.

IMO, Harris would have won – even with the problematic coalition that Dems rely on – IF the Secret Service had done its job in Butler and prevented the shooting. Instead Trump and his team milked the grazed ear for all it was worth and turned him into a heroic figure (and one divinely blessed).

This may be, but to put it in starker terms: millions of Democrats didn’t consider the guy who said the biggest dangers facing America were Haitians eating our pets and transgender folk BEING transgender, they didn’t think THAT guy was a big enough threat!

The Biden government had four years to demonstrate Trump was a threat. Thanks to the Garland justice department they failed that public duty. Add in $250 million from the South African version of PT Barnum and Trump’s myth expands. As a result, we unfortunately get Trump 2.0.

One word: inflation. The GOP successfully pinned it on the Democrats. It was a global issue, but that requires critical thinking and that people exist outside the conservative news bubble. The USA is lacking voters who get real data.
