i don't get the big deal with eating floor food. just last week i had a whole hamburger off the floor. and some lady flipped out about it. granted, it was her burger. and i knew she was eventually going to drop it anyway so i did it for her. and at that point she wasn't going to eat it. so sue me.

Way worse when you give a small piece of food. Next thing you know they look at you like the rest is their's. It's gotten quite bad with mine. I'm starting to reduce sharing. My friend noticed he was getting fat as well.

That "look" is why I had to train the dogs to go to their crates anytime we sit at the dinner table.

Now they head straight there & get a few bites in their food bowls when we're done.

My dog does know a bit of no begging. He's persistent at begging. Starting yesterday he's getting less food from my meals. He needs to lose weight and likely has skin issues from it.
