I need to revise this 'wow'. As far as I understand from public communication now, Macron and Starmer will meet Trump seperatedly, in this order.
Rather than a united front, even if messages align, this portrays more the image of individual European dwarfs coming with pleas to the king.

Wow, good diplomatic move - Macron reportedly joining in the meeting with Trump by Starmer.
Not sure whether anything or anyone can make Trump change course, but this is a strong signal of Europeans moving together to speak to the US.

Unless you mean 'tariffs' as '25% on everything' sort, which are not normal. Trying to discuss UKR and then chicken would suggests the PM is weakly unable to adjust to a new world.
But together, there could have been a different message. A kind of 'Normandy'-format where France and Germany negotiated with Russia (although not too successfully).
They can say the same thing mind on Ukraine, and will
There are only two kind of European countries, those which are small and those who have not yet accepted they are small.
I doubt either Macron/France or Starmer/the UK are accepted by Trump as equals.
Not that big a deal, as nothing he says can be believed or trusted.
UK and EU are not aligned (yet); Brexit and sovereignty still mar the picture.
Stronger together aligned.
And it’s not like he is exactly open to persuasion by reasoned argument.
What is more important is consistency in and after the meeting in making it clear to him and his: you ain’t winning and you’ll regret trying it if you do try it.
