This is sickening on so many levels.

"To start, Europe must rid itself of the dangerous illusion that it is weak—and stop acting like it." www.economist.com/by-invitatio...

If, as you should, you measure a civilisation by how many people would like to live in it, the West is doing rather well.

I am really quite exhausted by the idea that the US has extended its security umbrella to Europe since ww2 out of the goodness of their hearts. Yes, Europe should have done more, especially over the last two decades, but let‘s not pretend that US foreign policy was always motivated by altruism.

So I guess this is going to be Putin’s strategy: to buy Trump’s favour with oil

Hitting US digital empires is one of the most cost effective strategic weapons Europe has at her disposal. Not just X. Meta, Amazon, Google, all of them. Creating an Europe sized black hole in their data would have a bigger impact than any tariff, ever.

Also love the idea of cutting Russian-American business deals. The US has plenty of oil and gas itself. It imports key capital goods from….Europe. And exports tech and services to….Europes rich consumer market. What (tf) do they expect to gain from the poor Russian economy economy.

Há sempre alguém que beneficia com a guerra…

Who has really sacrificed most to help Ukraine.
