10+ years, a decade
sure is taking its time
but this, this has become a pet peeve of mine in part because the sloth of sanctions.
invoking an “economic collapse on the horizon” (or variations of economic catastrophe) as a quasi battle slogan, a decade long, has become as hollow as “Mueller time”.

We can always welcome USA back when sanity finally prevails.
Many countries are making valid efforts piecemeal, but there needs to be serious & collective acknowledgement that a shift to war preparation, economy, & key defensive measures are needed. These things take time, which we might not have.
And also how thin the thread of connection between the US and Europe had already become, once the illusion of shared values was ripped away.
