That there. The "making sense" bit is the thing that doesn't matter. It's the exact opposite in our realm. The one or the other, or both (most likely), but nothing to do with making sense.
The problem here is that evolution can be chaotic and random, making some of us smart or stupid. This implies that You *chose* to create greedy, soulless, stupid people. Some would call this a 'dick move.'
Wouldn't it be the height of hubris to believe that I am the pinnacle of evolution? Or that I am the pinnacle and culmination of Creation. I'm far too flawed for that. Evolution gets it wrong way more than it gets right.
Evolution makes no promises of improvement. Especially since all the intelligent people who SHOULD pass on their genes are too smart to have kids. Or they have fewer kids. It's the fetish breeders, Jesus freaks and irresponsible morons that are tipping the scales of natural selection.
