In this case I think the issue is more like people not understanding that each of these proposals is a nonstarter.

Not even Trump can simply "manifest" something into reality via wishful thinking.

Same with Greenland, Panama, "Canada as the 51st state," "canceling" FEMA, the IRS or Dep't of Education. All are smokescreens.

If and ONLY IF SCOTUS accepts a case specific to state-level marriage equality, THEN you should worry (as will I). That's the only way for them to decide such a matter.

Same sex marriage got codified into law with a 60+ senate vote. The SC case was because there was no law saying one way or the other so they deferred it to the states. This means the law of the land is same sex marriage is legal. Also being racist it may make a someone an asshole but isn’t illegal.
