I'm diabetic and AuDHD. I have alarms to remind me to eat four times a day. I also keep protein shakes and meal bars at hand for when I can't be assed to make actual food.
Clock chimes 11:
Me: I should get lunch.
Clock chimes 12:
Me: Right. Lunch.
Clock chimes 1:
Me: Fuck. And now I have a meeting.
Clock chimes 2:

Clock chimes 3:
Me: Fine, I'll eat.
Clock chimes 6pm: Dinner time!
Me: I'm not hungry. Ruined my appetite with that 3pm "lunch"
Clock chimes 10pm:
Me: HUNGRY NOW! What can I eat that won't give me acid reflux when I go to bed in a few hours?
This ... several times per week. I only eat one meal per day (unless I'm visiting my parents – they love feeding me home-cooked meals) but it's not unusual for me to go 30+ hours without food at home. I believe it is a form of passive, indirect self-harm, instead of a more direct form (i.e. cutting)
When I get tunnel vision for a few seconds (or go completely blind before my blood pressure adjusts) just from getting up from a chair, I know I have to eat something. The thing that'll kickstart my executive function most efficiently is the first tingling sensation of an oncoming hunger headache. 😨
Yeah. This weekend was terrible for me and eating. I'm never good at eating regularly anyway, and we've had a heat wave, and when it's hot I really don't want to eat

"What do you mean you don't eat for pleasure"
Look, I eat because I have to. Get in my belly...when I remember

Why aren't we snakes?
I wish “Jetsons”-style food pills were a thing.
