I just got my COVID booster at Rite Aid in the suburbs an hour ago, and had no wait, no hassle, and so far no side effects.

That's interesting because last week I had to drive to the blackest neighborhood in Atlanta to get mine. They had tons of open appointments but I couldn't find one in the urban core.

I had the same with walgreens to get my shot. After a pile of crap to schedule/reschedule, losing my forms etc. I waited almost an hour after my appointment time. And only got a shot once I complained.

Walgreens has been such a mess. Their online appointment system doesn't talk to their inventory system, or so I hear. Glad you succeeded in getting your booster! (I have an appointment at a Walgreens tomorrow afternoon. We'll see whether it is a successful one.)

Really glad you got one. Here in the UK they're not available except to at risk groups and those over 65. Yes, this is a stupid, shitty decision, & last winter the boosters were only available to the over 50s, so protection is severely on the wane.
