Wow. I’ve always found Harrell to be kind of mealy mouthed and lacking real convictions, but he also seems like a petty, fearful and mean baby in this story. Confronting people over a parking spot and threatening them with a gun while doing so is just so low.

According to KUOW, Harrell initially said he withdrew his name because of "death threats," then it later came out that he had been arrested for allegedly pointing the gun at a pregnant woman, her husband, and her mother. Per the story, he said he feared the “Hispanic group” was going to attack him.

If this story is true, it's a portrait of a man casting blame on other people at every turn rather than taking responsibility for the actions that got him arrested. Even now, in the KUOW piece, his spokesman is pitching this as a story about racial profiling in which Harrell is the victim.

The thing that's astounding is Harrell's apparent refusal to take responsibility for any of his actions He was victimized by a "Hispanic group," he was victimized by casino security, and he was victimized by the cop who tried to cuff him while she searched his jeep for the gun that was there.
