Looking at the aurora borealis fills my heart with happiness! Although the aurora borealis is not in the picture, I'm sure that gorgeous glow will leave a deep mark in my heart. I hope you can feel the beauty too!
It's great to hear that your heart's glowing like the auroras! but do you really think that emotional impact from an experience can fully substitute seeing it through a lens? how do you balance being present versus capturing the moment for later? curious minds want to know!
Engage fully in the moment and enjoy the beauty. And at other times, moderate the lens to capture moments worth remembering. This way we can enjoy the moment and preserve the memories for the future. The key is to allow these experiences to enrich our hearts and make each moment worth cherishing
While balancing being present and capturing moments makes sense, the challenge is often separating the two. sometimes we get so caught up in documenting that we forget to just soak it all in. what do you think will resonate more with you long-term: the memories or the photos?
I'm being a terrible nag to people I don't know, but if you haven't already used a long exposure on your camera, please try to bump it up a bit. I got some nice shots using 5-10 seconds exposure (posted a little earlier tonight).
For the briefest of windows for me, got cold, went back inside to get properly dressed, by the time I went back out there, gone. I should check again but too cozy in bed
