It's all very well for the public to say this in the abstract but when it comes down to it are they really going to wear the equivalent of 150-200* austerity initiatives equivalent to the removal of the Winter Fuel Allowance.

Median amount the British public think could be cut without hurting the economy or services is between 15-20%. Which I think accounts for a bit part of why the public say they won’t pay tax for more spending on lots of these Qs.
