When I switched from Today to R3's breakfast show ( #ChoosePetroc ) I used to evangelise about this by reassuring people that you get a half-hourly news bulletin so you would be alerted if the world was ending but Stephen Bush is correct that recent bulletins make me wonder if this is quite true.
