End of cliff-edge, so benefit reduces not stops with slightly higher pay. Continuous eligibility even if some weeks over limit so payment reduces/stops. Rise in allowance and income thresholds. More consistent use of average pay to determine eligibility.

The Guardian report says "Hundreds of thousands of unpaid carers have been saddled with huge debts". This scandal desperately needs a thorough investigation. It reminds me of the Post Office and we haven't even begun to wrap that one up yet.
