I want to point out that amidst the firehose of violated norms and challenges to the rule of law, federal courts are holding firm for the rule of law.

That was to a point what happened when George Floyd was murdered by the police. In a small way it became totally apparent that the law wasn't either there or not fair. As a result months of protests, much of it violent.
