The horror series, which had James Wan backing it, and some cool pictures of dudes in gas masks, did not manage to survive to a season 2.

There has to be an episode that has no dialogue, just Dracula wordlessly fulfilling a tangental yet compelling goal at length, with plenty of closeups to capture his facial expressions as the situation develops.

You always knew he was going to Hulk out, you knew KITT was good for two turbo modes per episode, MacGuyver was going to improvise a way out of a trap, at the end the A-Team was definitely montaging something cool together.

Aye, in the popular late 80s cartoon 'Count Duckula' there's very little feasting on virgins. 10 seconds of the intro explains the whole premise, he was brought back via ceremony, but they used ketchup instead of blood. Bang, job done, on with the story. We'd nowadays get 2 eps about the ketchup

I posted obliquely about this before it debuted but everything in the Do Not Reveal request for Teacup was clearly stated and/or implied on the cover (and the back cover text) of the novel the show was based on. The publisher didn’t hesitate to tell the potential audience what the story was. But TV?

I never watched Teacup. I was only aware of it when it popped up on Peacock. But this is the first series I can recall where no one is upset it was canceled. No outrage by a small group who found it interesting. Even those who watched the whole thing can barely muster an, "Oh, well."
