Nice pictures. Not photos. I’d say this new space of v.good replicas is closer to the often impressive area of forgery than actual art or photography… and I don’t mean that in a snide way. A forgery can be impressive. But these machines aren’t creating, they’re replicating. There’s no creativity.

There's also the experience of looking at this visual slop. It makes me feel tainted, as if I'd swallowed down a dozen McDonald's. And probably for exactly the same reason. A Big Mac isn't really food. This isn't really photography. They're both just products made for the seller, not the buyer.

It might be artistic but if there's no camera then it is not photography. But, as it used AI, there is plagiarism of the work of true photographers. Not feeling at all ready to embrace the new medium that's stealing the work and limelight of great photographers ...
