This man lived a life of honesty, principles and daily gave grace to those he met. No higher honor sir than hallelujah! Will miss you and will always love you!
This man was so much more than a president. He gave his entire life to be a humanitarian, husband, and there’s not any words to describe his level of bravery, brilliance his conscientiousness to environment. People should read about this man because he was incredible human being! He’s was peace.
There is a "fraternity of Presidents" that all living Presidents belong to, except Donald Trump. Where if any one of the living Presidents were to pass (Clinton, Bush, Obama, Biden), you could count on one of the others to give a proper eulogy.
I understand. Bush did a lot of wrong things. But I don't question his character as a person. Trump is a different matter. One could write a dissertation on Trump being disqualified from any dignity as a person or a President due to his criminal conduct and poor character.

A great man of character and humility who set an example for all presidents in how to lead by example( in so many ways) after leaving office. I pray that we will one day see another like him.

At least he got the gift of getting to live long enough not to be the single worst president in history, but I don't think Joe Biden will get to live long enough to receive the same gift - he is stuck with the title for eternity!
Well, a) I'm guessing it's been pretty lonely since Rosalynn passed and b) at least he didn't have to live thru a second tr*mp term. He demonstrated his Christian faith, modeling what many so-called Christians could aspire.
I walked the neighborhood with my Dad in support of Jimmy Carter when I was 14. I was proud and humbled -- even as a snot-nosed teenager -- to be in the literal and metaphorical company of 2 such honorable men.

President Biden should rename Camp David (which was named for David Eisenhower, grandson of President Dwight Eisenhower and son-in-law of President Richard Nixon) Camp Carter.
President Carter was the author of 32 books, and he received three Grammys in Best Spoken Word Album for “Our Endangered Values: America’s Most Moral Crisis” (2006), “A Full Life: Reflections at Ninety” (2015), and “Faith: A Journey For All” (2018).
Carter’s CETA (comprehensive employment training act) set my life on a course in the healing arts. It provided jobs to young people with on-the-job training & a livable wage. He opened many community health services as well. I am grateful to him. RIP Mr President & thank you.
You are forgetting O'Bama and Biden. No scandals, no cheating on their wives and tried to really make a difference in the lives of all of us. Even this issue with his son was pushed hard by republicans while ignoring their traitor in chief leader.
One great current president honoring a great former president. Carter was a "great soul" and acted out his beliefs. This one coming in will never ever even come close to the best of them.

It’s a small comfort, but now Joe Biden can handle the arrangements for Jimmy’s funeral, and his family won’t have to watch Trump make a mockery of it.
Sooo glad former President Carter didn't have to go through the horror of seeing a racist convicted felon, adjudicated rapist, and treasonous insurrectionist sitting in the oval office. Anywhere else Trump would be either put in jail or executed.
