Oh the Italian trains are delightful. We worked our way from Milan to Naples over two weeks in 2023. Trying Malaga to Granada by train next week.

I miss the old boat-trains that I used to catch over The Channel. Jump on at Dover, rock (usually gently) across to France and then rattle through the countryside.

Nothing like the Eurostar of now, of course. That was designed for suits.

We did Paris-Nimes-Barcelona- Perpignan-Villefranche de Conflent-Latour de Carol-Carcassonne-Toulouse-Paris last year.

I'm doing
Paris-Strasbourg-Colmar
-Basel-Strasbourg next month.

I do like flying though. Eurostar terminal in London isn't the most pleasant waiting area :(
