Weirdly, because I am a librarian who knows the joys of living alone, Evvie is my go to comfort read. I can’t tell you what it’s meant at some of the hardest points in the past few years. Narrative Ativan in the absolute best way, which is to say it regulates my nervous system when it’s off kilter.
