Imagine writing an article like this while the most beloved part of any movie's press junket is the star/director going to a boutique Blu-ray/DVD distributor and picking out their favorite films. And the same distributor sells $200-$300 box sets that frequently sell out.

No, they aren’t. Physical home video is doing great. What articles like this, and surveys they cite, often miss is the health of the boutique market and direct to consumer traffic. Not everyone buys discs from Amazon and Target etc, especially now. It’s all good!
