Omg! Can't wait!
Even Pebble 8 years after an update, they are still better than most watches. An incredible ecosystem, incredibly fast, always on screen, a week of battery, quick charge, waterproof, physical buttons, etc. If they released with the old firmware, it would still be the best!
Or just use your phone that you have with you as without it half of the Pebble's functionality is gone. I know everyone is different but I suspect I and many others want better battery life, less bezel, and maybe a bit higher resolution on the screen.
Hmm. I'm hoping this is just a project plan announcement, as I would have serious concerns about any product that would be anywhere close to being released 2 months after the announcement. In any case I still am rocking my Pebble Time Steel so that can hold me until I see more details.
I doubt it when some of the shots were getting older hardware to load the OS. It's not as far along as you think. Or at least what has been publicly shown in the last month and a half.
A lot of B&W small screen manufacturers still exist so it makes it much easier to purchase. Also, he has avolunteer team of coders using previous source code from Google from the OG Pebble.
I'm looking at the store now, and I'm a bit worried about the size of those designs. I have a small, flimsy wrist, that cannot handle large dials. What's the size of the watches ? I can't find that information in the spec sheet on the store
