I only ever seem to meditate in the evening, I associate it with winding down & relaxing. Does anyone have good experiences from a morning or midday practice?

I'm a morning meditation/parts work person. I find my dream state/just upon waking allows for easier exploration of my subconscious without conscious mind "filters" and I can get right "in there" and explore issues in the subconscious, where we create our reality from. Found lots there.
In that I’m retired I can set any routine. In the morning I find best for a gratitude meditation or Buddhist prayer. Afternoon some Buddhist practice and reading and contemplating.
I find my brain benefits more from a midday practice, but I’m a working mom and I find it hard to fit in. Lately I’ve been turning regular everyday activities—drinking my tea, playing with my kids, etc.—into mindfulness practices. I mostly do my “sitting” practice right before bed.
