Please tell me this isn't the same tunnel LAPD keeps trapping protesters in once a year

LAPD TRAPPED PROTESTORS IN A TUNNEL AND THERE ARE MANY MINORS AMONG THEM

It would actually be very easy to force a march into it if they aren’t considerably large or don’t know to avoid the set up
I was like "nope bad idea, it's a known kettle spot"
Had some kids yell "listen to Black leadership!" at me and i was like "nope, bad tactics". most of them went in and got kettled 🤦🏻♂️
we started drawing up red/yellow/green street maps similar to the Stay Safe Don't Get Kettled ones that @conelyfans.bsky.social made for Portland.
Bridges, tunnels, and side streets need special handling
Takes WAY more cops to seal off a city block than it does a bridge or tunnel.
You can do a tunnel IF you take the far side "T"'intersection first, with numbers and hold it open.
You can divert up a side street if your shieldwall or bike brigade is quick and they know what they're doing.
Rush thru to the next intersection over, pop it open and hold it long enough for main column.
Anyway, different rules apply when you have 20,000 people versus 200
Hard for LAPD to kettle 20,000 people, they gotta cut your column up first.
Seen them do it, but LAPD are kinda shit at those tactics.
Some people get itchy, they wanna lead a march and they start peeling off 200 people at a time to go walk around in circles and chant at empty bldgs for two hours
I know they'll be cited and released THIS TIME but how long before people start going onto prison busses and you never see them again?
I'd be ready to run with contingencies to regroup. Be Water
But quite possibly accurate.
It's WINTER! 🤣 Stay mobile, it keeps you warm 🤣🤣🤣
I don't want to protest-police them. It's their call in that moment to do what they feel is best. But like... This ain't first term Trump 😬
Where are the google maps review heroes when we need them?
The same thing every single time like I don't think that's working out. That's all I'm saying here.
That just begs "Its a trap!" to me

When you're in a large group, it's hard to know what's happening at the other end AND hard to make decisions for yourself.
