Every time I start writing a paper I start in LaTeX (old habits die hard I guess), personally I enjoy writing in plain text and I like the way LaTeX output looks.

But then eventually most journals want a MS Turd file.

has anybody solved this?

or is it just start with MS Turd to begin with 🤒
