My dude Coopuccino came as soon as I opened the window to look, and confidently strutted right up to eat out of the glass I offered, despite it being about six weeks since we last saw each other! Love this bird 🪶

I am! He just showed up one day and started hanging out when I was wide awake from sleep issues. Eventually I got seed for him, so it paid off long-term for him too
Also, despite their now (wrong) reputation as being dirty flying rats, they're very clean creatures who love to bathe-which also helps those white patches stay fancy
What a pretty fellow and what an ingenious name ❤️ we had one and it was such a joy to see it with the roosters and our own cats who wouldn't hurt him but he died when our new neighbor's cat hunted him during the night. I wish yours live longer and fuller
That's awful :( Coo here has been visiting for four or five years now-and you can see by his built up cere he's a bit of an old man now. Hopefully he's still got many more years left
