This is really what people don't grasp - it doesn't take a degree in aerospace engineering and flight control systems to create a fully autonomous drone... Any motivated hobbyist can build a thing that can kamikazi itself into any billionaire's life.
Highly unsettling report. So can we assume then that the increase in “flying object” sightings is probably law enforcement stress testing their ability to detect “weaponized drones”? 😳
Thank you so much. I have been telling that to my friend for days and she is so into propaganda. Republican Trump bullshit that she just knows it’s something nefarious and it’s government and it’s illegals and it’s gonna kill us all and the government is doing nothing to stop it!! and I it’s teens!
This all feels sort of grimly inevitable but yeah, drones are both a hobby and a really promising mechanism for data collection and this is all excruciatingly dumb.
There’s no point in wasting tax dollars on this when most people can’t even afford basic healthcare. Stop focusing on the stupid shiny objects being dangled in front of us to distract from the important news like imbeciles trying to ban medicine that saves millions of lives.
blah blah blah. Now the hype is on eh. The whole thing looks like a ploy by the Trump and ilk (the Musk Brothers - one owns a drone company) to attempt to get into the White House right away.

Scary how poorly we are doing to identify the drones in the North East.
