The Navy has already killed off its heritage committees—one of the ways the organization remembers sailors who came from different backgrounds, including those with disabilities. Basically against regs now to attend any "Black history" or "Indigenous history" events on duty or in uniform.

We were ramping up such events then. Tough crowd! But one win was bringing Spielberg in when Schindler's List came out. USNA did NOT want a Holocaust-related event. A Black officer & the Jewish chaplain did it.
I’m not sure how much readiness you need to steam in the opposite direction.
