Too bad. For a "brief, shining moment" in the 1990s I was chair of the #USNA committee.

We were ramping up such events then. Tough crowd! But one win was bringing Spielberg in when Schindler's List came out. USNA did NOT want a Holocaust-related event. A Black officer & the Jewish chaplain did it.

Another way Trump's orders are affecting the Navy (and thus the USMC) is that several training programs aimed at preventing harassment and sexual assault in the military have been placed on hold. So Trump's DEI orders have already led to military censoring discussions of rape.
