About #TeslaTakeback is each protest is smaller than what happened in Portland and it's in a lot of places. And a lot of people are for it. So if LE shows up, post it online

I suspect a lot of LE might not be so aggressive for now since it's less people and they are affected too by all the cuts. But I would not be surprised if Trump decides to make an example at one of the protests and send in Feds like he did in Portland.

People ought to realize there are no technical hurdles to accessing your devices or data. The goal for public and private agents is to do so "lawfully" without a warrant or disclosure, arbitrarily.

Prob want to read this, too, though it is dated; the reauthorization it discussed occurred and the program was also significantly expanded to allow the US government to compel more than just email/phone service providers into conducting wiretaps on its behalf.

It doesn't matter if the courts eventually put an end to a law enforcement campaign targeting activists; the intelligence component of these investigations will precede those checks on his authority. Trump has spies and they will perform domestic political intelligence gathering on his critics.
