As a Canadian observer, I do not understand why every Democrat politician isn't leading sit-ins, marches, peaceful protests, civil disobedience & every other passive-resistance tactic Ghandi & others have used successfully. Keeping their heads down, hoping to wait it out until midterms won't work...

As a party, Ds don't have to agree on all of it, but the execution of messaging needs to be loud and clear, this is not normal and we don't have to wait around until it is.

I agree with you about a strike, and there is a general strike card to sign, but we can't endure the speed of change for long. We (and to some degree) the world need us to make an immediate change. Who will the People follow into what is surely a battle if not a war?
Things are going to have to get a whole lot worse before enough people are affected to fight back. This is only the beginning. But leadership is needed & the Dems aren't doing it.

I imagine if Trump went through a legal process like impeachment and was deemed a domestic enemy, they would remove him. Al Green announced he would introduce articles of impeachment a few weeks ago but has no support, which tells me D's don't actually want him out.
