Just to be clear, I don't generally object to this, but it is interesting that you can spot membership in tech-world by the sprinkling of, in particular, jargon from econ, stats, CS, and physics. E.g. "update" to mean "changed my view" or "condition on" to mean "take int consideration"

Of all the weird tech speak, using “light cone” to refer to “what might happen” is most odd to me. It’s as if you’re saying “all the stuff that might happen, and I wish to emphasize no faster than light speeds, time travel, or violations of relativity theory in general”
