Cereal (hot or cold) is the best dessert. Even sugary cereals, while not healthy, are probably healthier than most traditional desserts...unless your ice cream or whatever is also fortified with vitamins and minerals.
People are going to scoff, but this kind of basic research is -crucial- if we ever want to advance our understanding. Looking forward to the very, very specific ways in which this doesn't work.
Love steel cut oats in the morning, almost every day of the year. Recently, started having a bowl around 3 hours before bedtime and I'm sleeping much better than ever. My Apple Watch says I'm sleeping like a baby with 7+ hours/night.
