A large Burmese we had when I was a child once scored an entire leg of lamb off a neighbour. Years later, as another neighbour was having a noisy barbeque, our tabby triumphantly appeared with an extensive steak.
I swear to God there is this little blue light and "vomp," sound in the back of my closet and cat comes out sometimes and forgets yo take off her incognito mask.
I once had an extremely large Maine Coon who would join my neighbors when they grilled. They chose to feed him, so of course, he'd show up to every event they held.
It took me a bit to figure it out, but I had a great laugh when I did. Good people, great fun.
Yes but I have to apologize because I did teach my pets literacy as well as anticipating my every move, mood,or whim! Darn it they’re smarter than I am!🤦🏼♀️💦💙🇺🇸🙏🏻💦🎄🕎🎥🍿

My dad left the turkey leftovers in one of those electric roasters until he could get it sorted. His Malamute pawed at the latch until it opened and had a lovely post-Thanksgiving feast of her own!
Two years since /somebody/ stole an entire joint of roast beef — which I had been really looking forward to having for Christmas dinner — directly off the dining table the second that no one was looking…
Yup best chance is an unguarded piece of meat.

Never.
She loves to bark incessantly at certain dogs.
Expects treats later.

We turned around, though late for church, to lock the baby gates to the kitchen and keep the dog away from the smoked turkey.

"Was that someone at the front door?"
R.I.P. my steak.
**Ps, been there! The Christmas Pho-Feast was born that year, and has become a day-after tradition. 🤣
