1/2: I think too many folks are letting too many Trump supporters off the hook by saying "they didn't vote for this." First of all, yes they did. Second of all, it wouldn't matter anyway, as the only thing that does matter is that they voted for him.
2/2: To the extent they ever come to feel any regret for that action, it will be solely because it harmed them directly in some way, and even then it will be blamed on the Democrats for making them do it.
