I remember some 125 million from an article a few years ago just for removal (no plowing), based on a 20-25 million for each operation *4-5 times on average per season.

amazing. looked up how much snow fell, and using the snow to rain conversion of 10:1, that would be the equivalent of almost 30 inches of rain! even in high precipitation areas this would be a flood.
