Captain America Brave New World is a perfectly serviceable action movie that somehow has exactly nothing to say about the fact that Anthony Mackie as Captain America is fighting the President of the United States in the middle of Washington DC. Forget subtext, there's barely even any text about it.

But also, a black Captain America fighting a big red president probably IS the text.
Not everything needs to be spelled out. It’s okay for story elements and characters to be symbolic. I was worried it would be TOO obvious.
Me: 🤦♀️
Is what I want to say. And they did, but either way this outcome without have been the same.
The bono rule is their fault! They suck.
I know it's prolly a Marvel meet-up fight that sets up a friendship, but that's what I wanna see it.
Got it
And I think Moon Knight had more interesting things to say about DID than practically any movie about DID in the past 3 decades
Besides, you might have only been thinking about the movies and not the TV shows
I'm not here to be pedantic. I'm just here to add if I can
I think it's easy to tell which MCU movies did the best job with their themes: Look for the ones toxic YouTubers think are the worst🤣
